The Rheingau Gourmet & Wine Festival is celebrating their 20th anniversary. Reason enough to present to you a program that is better than ever. They are particularly proud to have two superstars from France attended:
Pierre Gagnaire *** in Paris Christophe Muller *** from Paul Bocuse Restaurant l’Auberge du Pont de Collonges / Lyon (This year, awarded for 50 years three stars of the Michelin Guide)
They are especially pleased also over the heads of Beirut, Singapore, California, South Africa, Holland, Italy and Switzerland, which all belong to the best of their countries. The German stars are you anyway familiar: the highest quality. In this context, they are proud to have won MICHELIN restaurants Germany as a new partner for the festival.
Peer winemakers are personally doing. You are the owner of famous goods from all over Europe as well as from USA, South Africa and Chile. Every dinner, every lunch event is a great experience, because the menu and wines are always perfectly matched and the wines are presented by the winery owners and winemakers personally.
The wine rarities events (e.g. LE PIN in 20 vintages world for the first time) will as always be sold out within a few days. But exciting are mainly the afternoon tastings with wineries as Sassicaia, Vietti, Braida, San Leonardo, Avignonesi, Castello di Ama, Pesquera, Clos Mogador, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste + Château Haut Bages, Ridge, Edourdo Chadwick and wineries from South Africa and Switzerland (vinotiv).
On 25 February 2016 we start with the welcome party in the unique atmosphere of Kloster Eberbach: 10 international and national Kochstar cook live, 30 Champagne and wine stalls, 2 live bands.
