The world’s most talked about food conference MAD 5, set to take place in Copenhagen on August 28 and 29.
MAD5 will be about Tomorrow’s Kitchen. This year’s participants will be pushed to ask themselves two questions: What do we hope our kitchens will be like in the future? And what can we do today to make those dreams a reality?
Like past MADs, there will still be keynote speakers and presentations, but this year will be more collaborative and engaging. MAD5 will be smaller, giving everyone an opportunity to delve into the topics, to discuss more, and to meet more people around the tent. This year, participants can attend and also propose and lead the talks and discussions; to become active participants during two days of dialogue and inspiration.
Attendance is guaranteed by application only.
This year there are two ways of applying to MAD5: by general application and by proposing a session. “We are looking for people who are really committed to the industry, people who feel the urgency of improving the kitchen in 2016 and also understand the importance of the long term. As always, MAD is open to anyone from the restaurant world, but we also want to learn from those outside the trade” “One of the goals for MAD5 is to hear from a diverse set of voices. For that reason, Mad 5 is opening the floor to ideas or questions about improving the craft and encourage anyone with an interest in changing cooking for the better to apply for a ticket”. The deadline for both is April 14th.
